Vehicle Prices Drop Significantly in Sri Lankan Market

Vehicle prices in Sri Lanka’s local market have fallen significantly, according to Indika Sampath Meringchi, President of the Lanka Vehicle Importers’ Association.

Meringchi said prices of several popular car models have declined by around Rs. 1 million in some cases.

“Vehicle prices have dropped considerably, and I do not expect them to decline any further,” he said.

He described the current situation as a good opportunity for consumers, while warning that prices could rise sharply once the vehicle market begins to recover.
