No Decision Yet on Fuel Price Revision, Cabinet Spokesperson Says

Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Nalinda Jayatissa says the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has not yet reached a decision on revising fuel prices.

Speaking at the media briefing held to announce Cabinet decisions, Minister Jayatissa said fuel supply operations have been facing certain constraints.

He also revealed that the government had allocated approximately Rs. 57 billion for fuel subsidies during the recent period.

The Minister did not indicate when a decision on a possible fuel price revision would be made.
