MP Namal Rajapaksa further remanded

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is in remand custody following arrest over allegations of accepting a bribe in connection with the Airbus case, has been further remanded until October 27 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after considering submissions made by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and attorneys representing Namal Rajapaksa, our reporter said.
