Iran Says It Strikes U.S.-Linked Military Bases in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it launched missile and drone attacks targeting fuel storage facilities and weapons depots at Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base, which it described as a base used by the U.S. military.

According to the IRGC, the strikes hit Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base in retaliation for the recent U.S. attack on Iran.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that emergency sirens were activated in Bahrain amid heightened regional tensions.

In a separate statement, the IRGC said it had carried out a second wave of retaliatory strikes targeting the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. While the base is not the headquarters of the U.S. Navy, it supports U.S. military operations and hosts U.S. aircraft.

Iran also claimed it had launched attacks on a U.S. military base in Kuwait. However, there has been no independent confirmation of the reported strikes or the extent of any damage.

The claims come as tensions continue to escalate across the Gulf region following the recent exchange of military attacks between Iran and the United States.
