Health Ministry Launches Dengue Operations Room, Introduces Emergency Helpline

The Ministry of Health has established a new Dengue Operations Room to strengthen the collection of information and improve coordination of dengue prevention and control efforts across the country.

As part of the initiative, the Ministry has introduced a dedicated emergency helpline, 011-7966366, enabling the public to report dengue-related complaints, notify authorities about potential mosquito breeding sites, and receive guidance on prevention and control measures.

The Ministry said the new operations centre is expected to accelerate dengue eradication activities, enhance surveillance, and improve the overall response to controlling the spread of the disease.
