Former Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam Released on Bail

Former Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and an employee of his fuel station, who had been remanded over allegations of corruption, have been ordered to be released on bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

The court granted bail to both individuals following proceedings related to the corruption allegations.
