Yuvraj Singh Set to Become Delhi Capitals’ Batting Coach Ahead of Next IPL Season

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh is set to take over as the new batting coach of Delhi Capitals, according to media reports, marking a significant change in the franchise’s coaching structure ahead of the next season of the Indian Premier League.

The move comes as the franchise reshapes its support staff following the recently concluded season, where former cricketer Hemang Badani served in a coaching role within the setup.

Although Yuvraj Singh has no prior experience as an official IPL coach, he has previously worked as a mentor and has been involved in guiding several emerging Indian cricketers. Team sources suggest that his appointment is aimed at strengthening the batting unit, particularly focusing on the development of younger players.

The management reportedly believes that Yuvraj’s international experience and aggressive batting mindset could help improve consistency and performance under pressure in T20 competition.

The decision is part of Delhi Capitals’ broader strategy to rebuild and enhance their squad performance for the upcoming IPL season.
