Water Board Urges Public to Conserve Water Amid Islandwide Power Outage

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has urged the public to use water sparingly following an islandwide power outage that could disrupt water supply operations across Sri Lanka.

The Board warned that the electricity disruption may affect its ability to maintain normal water distribution services.

It also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers and requested the public to conserve water until the situation improves.
