Telugu Film ‘Peddi’ Showcases Sri Lanka’s Scenic Landscapes

The Telugu film “Peddi,” currently screening in cinemas worldwide, features several scenes filmed in Sri Lanka, showcasing the country’s picturesque central highlands and natural beauty.

The production was carried out at multiple locations across the island, including Udawattekele Forest in Kandy, the Ihalakotte Tunnel and Railway Station in Mawanella, Riverston, and Kaludiya Pokuna in Dambulla.

The Sri Lankan filming schedule was managed by IYNGARAN Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., which served as the local line production partner for the project.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and starring Ram Charan, Peddi uses Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes as a key part of its visual storytelling, bringing the country’s scenic locations to an international audience.
