Special Bus Services Launched for Kataragama Festival Devotees

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has introduced special bus services to facilitate the travel of devotees attending the annual festival of the Kataragama Temple.

Accordingly, special buses are currently operating between Colombo and Kataragama, as well as from several locations in the Eastern Province to Kataragama.

To provide additional convenience for passengers, two special reservation counters have been set up at the Kataragama bus stand to allow devotees to reserve seats in advance.

The SLTB has announced that devotees travelling to the Kataragama festival can make use of these special transport services throughout the festival period.
