International Conference on Tamil Mothers’ Quest for Justice Opens in Jaffna

An international conference focusing on Tamil mothers’ pursuit of truth, justice and accountability for enforced disappearances, titled “The Long Road to Justice,” commenced in Jaffna on Sunday (30).

Ana Lorena Delgadillo, an independent expert and member of the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, is participating in the conference as the chief guest.

The conference brings together participants to discuss the ongoing search for truth and justice for those who remain missing and the efforts of their families to obtain accountability.
