Hassan Alaldeen Joins SLPP, Appointed Dehiwala Electorate Organizer

Entrepreneur Hassan Alaldeen, a former Colombo mayoral candidate of the Sarvajana Balaya Party, has officially joined the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Following his move to the SLPP, Alaldeen was appointed as the party’s Dehiwala Electorate Organizer by SLPP National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa.

Alaldeen previously served as the Media Secretary and an Executive Committee member of the Sarvajana Balaya Party. He resigned from all party positions last week before joining the SLPP.

In his resignation letter submitted to Sarvajana Balaya General Secretary Ranjan Seneviratne, Alaldeen cited personal reasons for his decision to step down.
