Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath Meets Veteran Tamil Political Leader V. Anandasangaree

A meeting was held on Friday between Sri Lanka's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Vijitha Herath, and veteran Tamil political leader and General Secretary of the Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF), V. Anandasangaree.

The discussion took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the two leaders exchanged views and reflected on Anandasangaree's decades of political experience and public service.

Following the meeting, Minister Herath shared details in a post on his official social media page.

"I had the privilege of meeting Sri Lanka's senior political leader and former Member of Parliament, V. Anandasangaree. During our meeting, he shared his extensive political experience and insights with me in detail.

I highly appreciated the exemplary role he has played in the country's political landscape and his immense contributions to Sri Lanka. I also conveyed my gratitude and deep respect for his lifelong service," the Foreign Minister said.
