Elderly Allowance Under Aswesuma to Be Credited to Bank Accounts Tomorrow

The Welfare Assistance Board has announced that all arrangements have been finalized to credit the elderly allowance for June under the Aswesuma welfare scheme to beneficiaries’ bank accounts on July 3.

In the first phase, a total of Rs. 3,108,805,000 will be deposited into the accounts of 621,761 beneficiaries aged above 70 years.

In the second phase, Rs. 380,695,000 will be credited to the bank accounts of 76,139 elderly beneficiaries over the age of 70.

The Board stated that the payments will be processed in stages and directly transferred to the recipients’ bank accounts.
