Dry Weather to Prevail Across Most Parts of the Island

Mainly dry weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the island today (19), according to the Meteorology Department.

The forecast warns of a possibility of ground frost in some areas of the Nuwara Eliya District during the early hours of the morning.

In addition, misty conditions are expected in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, North-Central, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, and Ampara districts during the early morning hours.

The public is advised to exercise caution, particularly motorists and farmers, due to reduced visibility and potential frost conditions.
