The trial in the corruption case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) against former Minister Kumara Jayakody commenced before the Colombo High Court today (17).

The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Rashantha Godawela.

During the proceedings, the charges against Jayakody were read out in open court. The former minister pleaded not guilty to all charges.
