Buddhist Monks Withdraw from Protest Site Near Presidential Secretariat

All Buddhist monks who were staging a protest near the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo have withdrawn from the site and are currently attending a meeting at the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.

The monks left the protest site and proceeded to the ministry, where discussions are now underway. Further details regarding the meeting have not yet been disclosed.
